Sophia Derkenne

Sophia spends her time theatre making, performing, facilitating and playing, mostly on Wurundjeri and Bunurong Country. Holding a BFA (Theatre), Sophia is passionate about the importance of arts experiences to build community and improve lives, they are excited by the possibilities of theatre to transform unexpected spaces and offer audiences moments of magic. Sophia works with Polyglot Theatre, St Martins Youth Arts Centre, as a playworker with the adventure playground The Venny, and has worked as a devisor, facilitator and performer with VIMH, Brunswick East Entertainment Festival and Pummel Squad. They are delighted to add Playable Streets to this mix.
