CLIPPY

Make anything playable

Part workshop, part design process. Clippy turns conductive everyday objects into musical instruments — and gives participants a genuine say in how the device evolves.

Developed with Polyglot Theatre and co-designed with children across multiple school residencies, Clippy is a participatory instrument that is never quite finished. Each workshop cohort plays the current version, tests its limits, and contributes ideas that feed directly into the next iteration. The device changes because of the people who use it.

Sessions are available for primary schools, arts organisations, festivals, and community groups. No musical experience required. Wet shoes optional.
